About me
I began my 34 year art museum library career at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, NY as an Assistant Librarian/Archivist and then was later promoted to Head Librarian. For the past 23 years I have been working as a Head Librarian at the Minneapolis Institute of Art (Mia), where I have overseen several preservation and accessibility initiatives involving the documentary collections of Mia's Library and Archives. In November 2014 I earned my Digital Archives Specialist Certificate from the Society of American Archivists and was recertified in 2022. I was also an RMIA (Roberta Mann Innovation Award) recipient in 2017. In 2021 I contributed a chapter " Evolution and Revolution: New Approaches to Art Museum Library Programming" to the book, The New Art Museum Library. In 2022 I received a Samuel H. Kress Foundation Scholarship to attend the Summer Educational Institute (SEI).
