About me
Kiowa Hammons has over 15 years of experience in intellectual property rights. He is currently the Manager of Rights Clearance at The New York Public Library--focusing on copyright research, metadata implementation, and library policy. Kiowa also manages a team of Digitization Coordinators, who facilitate digitization projects of the Library's special collections. Previously Kiowa worked in rights clearance at Penguin Random House and The Whitney Museum of American Art. Kiowa holds a Masters in Library and Information Sciences from The Pratt Institute, with an emphasis on Information Policy, Art Librarianship, and Archives.
